We have fallen in love with Orbitbaby products! We just transitioned from the infant car seat to the toddler seat for our 8 month old son and the biggest convenience is that it uses the same base! My girl loves this seat. She was ready to move up from the infant seat, but I wasn’t ready to give up the ease of it rotating. I’m so glad this still fits in the base! It’s easy to use and feels very safe.
14 years ago I was walking the streets of Menlo Park when I came across the original orbit stroller set. I was blown away by its design and functionality. I never forgot about the stroller. When I became pregnant last year I didn’t hesitate to purchase this stroller system. I get so many compliments especially when I’m taking my baby out of the car seat and people see that I’m not breaking my back. They all wish they had the same set up. My daughter transitioned from the Orbit infant car set to the Orbit toddler car seat. I am happy that we decided to stay with Orbit. The transition was more smooth. It is used for both her stroller and in the car, which makes it even more convenient.
I got the Orbit baby travel system 2 years ago. It was the best decision I ever made, I get lots of compliments every where I go. The infant car seat lasted me for 2 years and still in a very good condition. Now we upgraded to the toddler car seat, my daughter loves it. I wish the front facing can also come inform of rotation because I was so used having the seat belt done facing me.
We cannot be more happy with our toddler car sit. It give us peace of mind driving with our girl in the car knowing she is safe and comfortable. Besides it, wherever we go people ask us about the stroller and compliments us in how practical it is.
Nice that you can wash the car seat lining (for those ***** incidents). Wish the sunshade canopy had better structure integrity (ours remains slightly bent since purchasing). Good addition to our growing family.
We love this system! It is soooo nice to be able to turn the seat to get our little one in and out. We love how the whole system works together with the same base. Our kiddo loves this seat and being able to sit up more and see out the window. Highly recommend.

This car seat took forever to arrive, and it showed up damaged. It looked like a returned item with loose tape and broken packaging. The seat itself is nice-looking and feels heavy-duty. But installing it is more trouble than it’s worth. It would not fit in my car right out of the box, which might be okay if the directions were clear. The side of the seat says if it’s not level, read the manual. The manual then says if it’s not level, call or email. I want to assure you that our car seats are generally praised by thousands of customers for being easy to install, but I do understand that patience is key when it comes to ensuring the installation is done correctly—especially when safety is on the line. It’s critical to follow the instructions carefully, as car seat installation can sometimes be tricky, and proper installation is paramount to your child’s safety. We first purchased the travel system for the baby and enjoyed the car seat feature where you could turn it around to get the baby strapped in and out. When the time came to switch to the bigger car seat, it was a brainer that orbits car seat is the way to go. Not only it is safe and aesthetically pleasing, but it also helps us to get around and move the baby seamlessly while he is asleep into the stroller with the car seat. So, while this might cost more, the investment and convenience are totally worth it.
We haven’t had our toddler seat for very long. Our little one got sick in the seat. Saturating the seat and straps. I have tried to spot clean the straps and the stain and smell is not coming out. Per the website you are not to submerge the straps because it will weaken the straps causing it to be a safety hazard. It takes that if you are having complications to contact support. I contacted support and she did absolutely nothing to help.
Hey Amber, So sorry to hear about your little one getting sick. Please note that spot cleaning car seat straps is industry standard and it is advised to never wash your straps in a washing machine. This is not exclusive to just us, but every brand. We tried our best to suggest how to clean your straps but giving you a brand new car seat was not something we were going to accommodate. We appreciate your feedback and we wish you and your family the best.
It was confusing as to whether this car seat system needed a separate base or not. It does. It does not install easily. I wish there were better instructions. Once it gets installed I’m sure I will love.

Tried many other brands, but to my surprise when I opened the box the craftmanship, quality, design and material were completely superior to other models. I was planning to keep for christmas, but we could not wait, worth every penny
I love the overall car seat and the fact that it revolves. The only downside is the sunshade is either on or off. I don’t believe there’s a way to keep it on but push it open or closed. And it’s so tall in my car that I can’t see baby through baby mirror if the sunshade is on. Minor thing I would change. But overall I love it!!
Absolutely love this transition seat. Quality is always unmatched but Orbit really went beyond here. LOVE that it latches to the stroller. This is an all in one stroller folks.
Our LO loves the seat! I do wish the website would've been more clear on the base not being included. Had to purchase it separately unfortunately.
