Of course we had to buy this base for the newest member of our family! Originally we bought the entire system that included the infant car seat base and stroller. Now that our 2y/o is old enough for the toddler car seat we are graduating her infant car seat along with her new base to our just born daughter. This is the only system I would ever carry in our home! The ease and effortlessness of everything being compatible and 360 spin is a must in this busy home.

Not as convenient with toddler car seat
First, finding instructions to install this thing were difficult. They don’t come with the car seat, and the video wouldn’t play. Then once I finally got a video to work, it was simple enough…BUT while installing I saw in the fine print on the base that the LATCH fasteners are not for use when rear facing. The video makes no mention of this, so it could have been dangerous. This also should be included with the toddler car seat, or at least some bundle offered.

Makes life easy
So I had gotten the travel bundle and it was amazing up until I had to go back to work . It was constantly changing cars with my husband and which my mother and mother in law or whoever was babysitting my baby while I was at work … so I decided to buy the base !!!! Life changing the struggles of making sure baby was in his car seat and base and going back in forth between cars stopped . I know that the bundle is pricey but it is worth every dollar , cent , and hard earned cash !!!

Excellent Dock
Makes putting baby in car a cinch! Love the ability to rotate the seat to face you to make it easier to either strap baby in, tend to them with the door open, or uploading/unloading. Have one in each of our cars for simplicity and efficiency.

My son had already purchased the carrier car seat and needed the base. So, of course I purchased the base for my first granddaughter. The Orbit Baby was their first choice for items to get for the baby. I trusted their decision and they have been pleased since. Although one con would be the size of the base. It is bulky and may or may not place correctly in the backseat of some cars.
